Julie Schappler

Julie is passionate about education and science communication and willing to contribute to a better disseminated scientific and medical knowledge.

Julie studied Pharmacy and holds a PhD in Sciences and a pharma-MBA. She worked for 15 years in the academia where she ran a R&D lab, gave lectures to medical students and headed the event department. She was VP of a medical association and co-founded the first 24/7 pharmacy of Switzerland.

Julie is based in Singapore where she founded JULS life science. She designs and produces virtual & hybrid science and health-related events (meetings, conferences, etc.) and e-learning and e-training programs for medical & scientific corporates, academia and associations.

Julia is a world citizen, passionate about events and willing to contribute to a more sustainable industry.

Julia holds a Master Degree in Event Management. She worked for 13 years in event management in the media and healthcare industry, where she ran B2B and corporate events such as tradeshows, congresses, leadership kick off, global sales meetings, etc.

She was in charge of transitioning all corporate F2F events into virtual experiences. She has preached the many benefits of virtual & hybrid events to internal customers and convinced them to lead the way.

Julia is based in Paris (France) where she founded JULS Europe. She guides companies through their digital transformation and events digitalization. She designs, creates and produces virtual events as well as trains speakers to be impactful in a virtual set up.
